Is This Screening Right for You?
A free spine screening may be a good fit if you:
- Notice stiffness in your neck, back or shoulders
- Get frequent tension headaches
- Feel achy after sitting at a desk or driving
- Have been told you slouch, or your head juts forward
- See one shoulder or hip sitting higher than the other
- Have never had your spine checked and want a baseline
- Are curious whether chiropractic care could help you
What's Included
Your complimentary screening is short, simple and completely non-invasive.
Posture analysis — we look at how your head, shoulders and hips line up from the front and side
Range-of-motion check — we see how freely your neck and back move
Brief spinal assessment — a gentle hands-on check for areas of tension or restricted movement
Quick conversation about your concerns — what you feel, when, and what you would like to change
Clear next steps — your results explained in plain language, with honest recommendations
How It Works
1. Reserve Your Spot
Book online or call 435-291-9741. Screening times are limited each week, so we recommend reserving ahead.
2. Get Screened
Your screening takes about 20 minutes. Wear comfortable clothing. There is nothing to prepare and no paperwork beyond a short form.
3. Get Your Results
Dr. Rigby or a member of our team will explain what we found. If everything looks good, great. If we notice something worth looking into, we will explain your options, including a full exam if it makes sense.
No Pressure, No Obligation
We know the word "free" can make people wary. Here is our promise: the screening is truly free, and you will never be pushed into a care plan. Many people simply leave with peace of mind and a few posture tips they can use right away.
What a Screening Is and Isn't
A screening is a quick check, not a full diagnosis. It does not include X-rays or a complete orthopedic and neurological exam. If you are dealing with an injury, ongoing pain or symptoms like numbness or weakness, a full new patient exam is the better choice. You can learn more on our what to expect page.
If you have numbness, tingling or burning in your hands or feet, ask about our separate nerve-focused evaluation instead.
When to See a Doctor Right Away
Skip the screening and seek urgent medical care if you have back pain with loss of bladder or bowel control, numbness in the groin area, sudden leg weakness, pain after a serious fall or accident, or back pain with fever or unexplained weight loss.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the spine screening really free?
Yes. There is no charge for the screening and no obligation to start care. It is a simple way to learn more about your posture and spine and to meet our team. If we recommend a full exam or treatment, we will explain the cost clearly before anything else happens.
How long does a spine screening take?
Most screenings take about 20 minutes. That includes a brief conversation about your concerns, a posture and movement check, and time to go over your results and answer questions. You can easily fit it into a lunch break.
Will I get adjusted during my screening?
No. The screening is for assessment only. If your results suggest that chiropractic care may help, we will discuss your options and schedule a full exam if you choose. That way, any treatment is based on a complete picture of your health.
Can a chiropractor fix bad posture?
A chiropractor can help address joint restrictions and muscle imbalances that often contribute to poor posture. Lasting change usually combines in-office care with stretches, strengthening exercises and better daily habits. Your screening is a good first step to see where you stand.
